Final jam before the long break.

Posted in Band Jams, Content Updates, Jams and Hershies? on August 6, 2010 by KNP Band

It’s been a while since this site was updated. We got a little too busy over the couple of weeks. So here is an update, tomorrow night will be the final KNP jam before Ramadhan and the next jam will probably take place after raya or so. The last jam was quite unsuccessful due to some technical issues so hopefully tomorrow should run as smooth as a silk.

A total of 5 songs will be played tomorrow and out of those 5, only 3 songs are new. So just wait for the next jam videos though it will take a while just to somewhat enhance it. Till then….rock on!

KNP featuring Dyana

Posted in Content Updates, Videos on May 20, 2010 by KNP Band

There are 5 NEW videos featuring Dyana which was held last Saturday. These videos have been enhanced due to the poor lighting in the studio. Some videos turned out good and some…well, less than the former but still retaining an above average sound quality. It took a long time to enhance this videos and we are not professionals graphics people. Anyways, enjoy them.

Month of May

Posted in Content Updates with tags , , , , , , , on May 5, 2010 by KNP Band

Hello hello hell—ooo. It’s the month of May and it’s full of happy events. Two of our band members were coincidentally born in this month. To our Vocalist, Mr. Simon…happy birthday and to our Drummer, Achee…happy birthday as well. May the two of you live a great life and prosper and live happily ever after (That sound so gay). Lol…..anyways will be looking towards the next jam on the 15th and I’m guessing it’s going to be a wild one.

On a lighter note, it is also a great pleasure of KNP Band to introduce our guest vocalist who has just returned from Manchester, United Kingdom. She will be in Brunei for a couple of months and we got her to sing a classic for us for our next jam. She is none other than Dyana. She is loud and has a sweet melodic vocals and her voice will haunt you every night (and we mean it literally). She has sang a number of titles and notably during the 2005 Prom Night in Panaga Club and in one of the clubs in Miri during a ladies night event.

So we the KNP Band would like to say “Welcome Home and Happy Belated Birthday” to Dyana and may this next jam will be one of the many little things that you will cherish in your life.

Other news, one new video from our last jam session has been uploaded. View it HERE now. More videos to come. So stay tuned.

FX Collections

My FX collections:

Ultra Shifter / Harmonist US600

Ever want to have that sweet mellow harmony tune? This is for you. Want to shift up or down your tone? This is for you. Want to cheat and play double lead with one guitar? This is for you. This baby is a rare item here in Brunei and costs slightly higher than other normal FXs.

Super Metal SM400

For metal heads who can’t get enough juice out of their normal metal FX, try this for a change. This thing will give you the extra juice you need. They are easy to use and you can control the amount of metal distortion you want. I suggest maxing it all the way. High notes and long sustains ftw! Permanent ear damage guaranteed.

Hell Babe HB01

Hell Babe is the name. Runs on a 9V battery and/or a power outlet. Quite a unique Wah Pedal with an optical control module (whatever that is). It has a boost function and great for solos. The amount and the shape of the Wah are easily controllable from blues, mellow and jazzy wah to shrieking wah! The downside of this pedal is that they are heavy, bulky and sucks too much battery power so I suggest getting a power outlet for this one.
